| The Pueblo Children’s Chorale (PCC) is a professional choral organization for children in 2nd through 8th grades (7-13 year olds) that is in its 15th season of operation in this community. In 1996, several vocal music educators discussed the need for a chorus of this nature in the community of Pueblo. Most were members of the Pueblo Choral Society and decided to plan for a children’s group of that caliber.
The Chorale youth members are connected by their love of music and better-than-average voices. Each season we hold auditions in September and January and select children for membership. Each Tuesday from 4:15-6:00 p.m. at CSU-Pueblo’s music building, the choir is in rehearsal. The group features three performances (Oct., Dec. and May), tours to eight schools, and performs for local, state, and national events. This summer we will hold our 6th annual “Summer Sing” for current Chorale members and any other children in the community (7-13 years old) that would like a fun singing experience. |
